This bat dates to the best years of Ken Griffey, Jr.’s Hall of Fame career. Griffey capped off 1995 by leading the Mariners into the post-season. In the ALDS against the Yankees, Junior not only saved his team from elimination in Games 3 and 4, but his daring base running scored the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning of the decisive Game 5.

Junior hit ,304 with 49 steroid-free home runs in 1996 and then capped off his three-year onslaught by leading the league with 56 homers, 147 RBI and winning his only American League MVP Award. Griffey’s 1995-1997 Louisville Slugger C271 model bat is un-cracked and shows excellent use. Several ball marks and stitch impressions are visible along with white leather ball scuffs. The handle has been taped in a crisscross pattern to enhance the grip. A perfect gamer from Junior’s best years in Seattle. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B10376) for the game use and has been graded a GU 9.
