The long running Cleveland Municipal Stadium hosted many events over in its 60 plus years in existence. The first event there was a heavyweight boxing match featuring Max Schmeling, and then the Cleveland Indians baseball team played there along with the Cleveland Rams and Browns. The yellow seat has the number “19” in black stencil, and the seat appears to have been painted multiple times with various color streaks visible. The single seat measures 33” x 22” x14”, and is affixed with a small plaque which reads, “Genuine box seat from Municipal Stadium, Cleveland, Ohio Home of the American League (Cleveland Indians) 1932-1993, NFL (Cleveland Indians 1931), (Cleveland Rams 1939-42 1945), (Cleveland Browns 1946-1949 AAFC 1950-1995 NFL) Authenticity Guaranteed by Seitz and Company, St. Paul, MINN 55104-6030.” Seat back is signed “Bob Feller #19”. The condition is very nice, but is not free standing and is unable to support anyone sitting in the chair.
