Offered here is this incredible single-signed baseball from arguably the greatest pitcher of all-time Cy Young. The Cy Young award, of course, is annually given to the best pitcher in both the American and National Leagues and this baseball has his distinctive signature signed on the side panel in black ink. This baseball is stamped “Major League “Double Welded” Center Sealed Rubber Inner Cover” on the sweet spot. Young signed his name in blue ballpoint pen to the right of the stamped sweet spot and inscribed “Nov. 3, 1950”. The ball displays minor toning giving it a warm cream-colored look. The stampings, all in black, are still strong. This baseball comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A18699).
