Presented here is a signed 8 x 10 photograph of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso. This Dalai Lama was recognized in 1939, and has been in exile since 1940. An immensely respected figure in Tibetan and world politics, Gyatso (born Lhamo Thondup) received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989 and is a self-identified Marxist. This 8 x 10 inch color photograph shows the Dalai Lama praying and dressed in traditional Tibetan Buddhist garb. The Dalai Lama has signed this photograph in blue fiber-tip marker. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z07423).
