This is a deluxe AROC (Artist Re-creation on Canvas) Giclee, which is basically a normal Giclee that has been enhanced by the artist, Bill Lopa, by adding paint, making each piece unique. An avid sports fan and die-hard Yankees fan, Lopa chose to concentrate his art in what he loved in a genre he found most challenging and enjoyable: kinetic impressionism. Working in acrylics, Lopa uses a "splatter" technique where the colors are applied with a pallet knife. The use of bold colors and splatter technique captures the image and spirit of an athlete in motion. Signed by David Wright in silver at the bottom center and the artist Bill Lopa in the lower right corner. Limited edition #DX 1/25. MLB authentication hologram affixed. Total Size 30" x 40".
