On July 28, 1991, Dennis Martinez of the Montreal Expos pitched only the 11th Perfect Game of the Modern Baseball Era, retiring 27 Los Angeles Dodgers on just 95 pitches. To commemorate the achievement, Dennis Martinez has signed this Official Selig Major League Baseball on the sweet spot in blue ink, and included the inscription P.G. 7/28/91 below his sig. On the north panel of the ball Martinez has inscribed the Expos inning-by-inning line score, while the south panel holds the Dodgers line score. The ball is accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA (Z94752), and tagged with the corresponding PSA/DNA hologram.
