In his second full season with the Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter led the American League with 748 plate-appearances and notched 190 hits at a .291 clip with 116 runs scored. Jeter got good use out of this 1997 Louisville Slugger P72 model bat which shows evidence of excellent use with a heavy concentration of white leather ball scuffs, grain separation and legible blue ink transfers and the barrels black finish. Jeter’s name and New York Yankees are engraved on the barrel in silver block Jeter letters. Jeter applied a liberal amount of Mota stick to the handle running all the way from the knob to the label. PSA/DNA sticker (#1B05652) is affixed to the end of the barrel; comes with full PSA/DNA letter of authenticity and GU 9 grading.
