Derek Jeter epitomizes the grandeur and glory of the New York Yankees since his debut in 1995. With Jeter at shortstop, the Yanks have won five World Series. This base is from the day/night double header against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on July 21, 2007. Jeter collected only two hits on the day, but the Yankees swept the Rays, 7 – 3, and 17 – 5. Jeter has signed the base in bold black Sharpie across the top half. The base sides hold either a plate with “NY Yankees” or “I Live for THIS” MLB slogan from 2007. The base shows evidence of heavy game use, with clay stains spread across its face. The base is embossed with “Original HOLLYWOOD BASE/ Jack Corbett/ Schutt Sports and the MLB logo. The signature comes with a COA from Steiner Collectibles (#477859) and the base is authenticated as game-used by MLB (#35779).
