Along with Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle, Duke Snider was one of the fathers of the center field revolution of the mid-20th century. Snider brought a powerful bat and equally powerful charisma to the Ebbets Field, becoming known as “The Duke of Flatbush”. An inductee of the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980, Snider saw his number “4” retired that same season.

Presented here is a Duke Snider Mitchell & Ness home jersey. “Dodgers” is sewn across the front in blue felt, while a number “4” is sewn on the left chest in red felt. A second “4” is sewn on the back in blue felt. A “Cooperstown Collection” tag is sewn on the left front tail. Snider signed the chest of the jersey in blue marker. He added multiple inscriptions, including “The Duke of Flatbush”, “HOF 80 / 407 HR’s”, and “#4 / 11 W.S HR’s”. This item comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA (AC03357).
