Now enshrined in the Hall of Fame, George Brett is the greatest hitting third baseman of all-time. To put his career in perspective, only three other men besides Brett have more than 3,000 career hits and 300 home runs: Hank Aaron, Stan Musial and Willie Mays - pretty good company. Brett was also pretty successful without a bat in his hand, adding a Gold Glove Award to his massive collection of batting accolades. Presented here is a Wilson A2350 “BALL HAWK” George Brett glove signed and inscribed by the Hall of Famer. The select American cowhide glove features a T-Web and a circular “WILSON” logo on the backhand and a “WILSON” tag on the wrist strap of the glove. Brett’s facsimile signature features prominently on the inside palm. Brett signed and inscribed “Play It Again George Brett 1993” with a black marker on the inside finger. The signature and inscription contain elements of bleeding, and the glove shows heavy evidence of wear containing wear on the inside palm, fingers, and backhand of the glove. The Wilson baseball glove signed and inscribed by Hall of Famer George Brett comes with a COA from JSA (D48230) for the signature.
