Each of these star players – a substantial number of whom are now deceased – has signed in blue or black Sharpie or marker, and their scriptings are generally strong and distinct. Signatures placed on the plate's light-colored top surface include: Aaron, Aparicio, Banks, Barlick, Bench, Berra, Boudreau, Brock, Carew, Carlton, Dandridge, DiMaggio, Doerr, Drysdale, Feller, Ferrell, Fingers, Ford, Gibson, Irvin, R.
