It’s not often you come across a baseball that has the signature of Jackie Robinson. This offered baseball has Hall of Famer and baseball pioneer Jackie Robinson’s bold signature on the sweet spot. This baseball has been signed 26 players total and some of the names on this baseball include Hall of Famers Casey Stengel, who’s signature appears on the opposite sweet spot panel of Robinson, Dick Williams, Geroge Kell and Earle Combs. The signatures of Williams, Kell and Combs appear on the west panel. Other notable signatures on this orb include Johnny Podres, Clem Labine, Preacher Roe, Gil McDougald and Ralph Branca. There is an inscription “577” that appears beneath Robinson’s signature that was penned in an unknown hand. All of the signatures on this baseball have been signed in blue ballpoint pen and the baseball has been covered by a coating of shellac to preserve the signatures. The baseball displays toning and only a few of the signature display any blemishes. This baseball comes with a LOA from JSA (Z34958).
