The late Hector “Macho” Camacho was known for his extravagant and vivacious style and self promotion, but don’t be fooled, this style and mouth were backed up by his acumen in the ring. Camacho, was a world champion in three different weight classes, held the WBC super featherweight title from 1983-1984, the WBC lightweight title from 1985 to 1987, and the WBO junior welterweight title twice between 1989 and 1992. The southpaw from Puerto Rico boasted a record of 79 wins with 6 losses and three draws, with 38 wins by knockout during his almost 30-year career in the ring. Camacho wore this presented size S pre-fight worn black “Hitman” jacket and pants prior to fights. The black zip-up with two zipped pockets jacket is made of a polyester material that shines brightly and contains red trim on the bottom and sleeves. “HITMAN” appears screen-printed on the large red stripes of the arms in black. “CAMACHO” appears embroidered in red with a rocket symbol and four stars in white on a white patch is located on the left chest of the jacket. The back of the jacket features “MACHO CAMACHO” radially arched in red tackle twill across the back of the jacket. The jacket is in good condition and is a sterling commemorative to one of boxing’s most memorable pugilists.

The second item in this presented lot are a pair of size S polyester pants that feature a red waistband and red trim on the lateral sides of the legs. The buttoned-up pants feature red elastic on the ankles. The pants are in great condition and the entire lot of the “Hitman” jacket and black matching pants comes directly from one of Camacho’s former managers with a corresponding letter of provenance that will be included.
