One of five original members selected to baseball’s inaugural Hall of Fame class, Honus Wagner will forever hold a prominent place in the history of America’s Pastime. The “Flying Dutchman” played 21 seasons (1897-1917) and is widely considered the greatest shortstop of all time. Wagner won eight batting titles and led the league in stolen bases five times as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Offered here is a bold black ink signature of Honus Wagner. Wagner’s signature runs slightly off-center to the left but has a nice diagonal flow on this slightly toned 3 x 5-inch index card. This signature presents beautifully and is a truly stunning stand-alone signature from one of the game’s premier players from the inaugural Hall of Fame class. This signed index card has been encapsulated by Beckett Grading Services and Wagner’s signatures has been graded a GEM MINT 10.
