This white, mesh pullover jersey was worn by nine-year pro linebacker Jamie Sharper in Super Bowl XXXV in Tampa, Fla. Sharper started at linebacker for the Ravens, who beat the New York Giants, 34-7, allowing just 152 total yards with Sharper contributing an interception. The jersey has Sharper’s number “55” on the front, back and both shoulders in purple-on-gold-on-black tackle twill. “RAVENS” is embroidered above the number on the front of the jersey and “SHARPER” is stitched in purple tackle twill to the nameplate on the back. There is a Super Bowl XXXV logo stitched on front, just below the left shoulder. Both shoulders feature a black Nike “swoosh” logo and the Baltimore Ravens’ shield logo in a patch stitched to the jersey. A strip tag with “00-50” indicating the size in affixed to the inside of the back collar and a Nike NFL tag is on the front tail with “50” to indicate the size. There is a small tag with “4” L.B.” to indicate a size modification. The front part of the black collar of the jersey has been manually altered. It appears the neck opening was cut to widen it, then the edges were sewn to prevent fraying. Two small repairs have been made in the mesh on the front of the jersey, one on the upper right corner above the number, and one on the left side. On the back, a small repair in the mesh appears on the left side of the number. Sharper’s signature appears in blue Sharpie next to the name on the back of the jersey. The jersey exhibits evidence of tremendous game use and appears to be all original and completely unaltered. This is a great Super Bowl game used jersey from a player who helped the Ravens to one of the most dominating defensive performances in Super Bowl history. The signature comes with a PSA/DNA certification number “U77461” and the jersey has an LOA from Jamie Sharper.
