Presented here is a brick from Cleveland Municipal Stadium signed by Jim Brown. Brown, a Hall of Famer, played nine seasons in Cleveland, winning the NFL MVP award in a third of those campaigns. The majority of his professional accomplishments took place in Cleveland Municipal Stadium, which was open from 1931 to 1996. The Indians played there from 1937 to 1993, fielding a World Series winning team in 1948. In 1996, the stadium was demolished, with much of the debris converted into an artificial reef on the shores of Lake Erie. This brick is one of the few to have avoided a watery grave, and it has been signed in black marker by Brown. He added the inscription “HOF 71”. This item comes with a COA from PSA/DNA (W78059).
