This official Riddell Gold helmet, which is mounted on an acrylic stand, is signed by Joe Montana in black Sharpie with the inscription “The Chicken Soup Game 1979 Cotton Bowl ND 35 Houston 34 Go Irish!”. Montana, fighting hypothermia, was given chicken bouillon by the Notre Dame medical staff and Montana led a fourth quarter rally that saw the Irish defeat Houston 35-34 in the 1979 Cotton Bowl. Joe Montana hologram is affixed to the helmet.
