John Riggins, aka the Diesel, rushed for over 11,000 yards during his 14-year career that included a victory in Super Bowl XVII against the Miami Dolphins, as well as MVP honors. Stephen Holland is one of the country's most popular sports artists. Holland and Riggins have teamed up to create "The Rivalry", a limited edition (limited to 99 pieces) giclee printed on canvas with many of Holland's hand enhancements. This 28 x 41 inch canvas giclee captures Riggins running wild against the Dallas Cowboys, Washington’s hated rival. Set against a gray background, Riggins is portrayed breaking tackles on his way to another big gain. Stephen Holland’s signature in black Sharpie located in the lower left corner, while John Riggins’ signature is beside his image in gold sharpie, grading a ("10").
