This was the first of two consecutive World Series played by the Texas Rangers, the first two of their franchises history, and also the first two defeats. This cap was worn by Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton during the 2010 World Series. The “2010 World Series” patch is on the left side, with the Texas “T” on front. The cap is signed on the front “Josh Hamilton 32” is silver Sharpie. Within the size 7 3/8 cap is Hamilton’s uniform number “32” written in black marker. There is tremendous evidence of game use, with multiple areas of dirt and sweat stains, scrapes on the T and button, plus a good amount of wear on the brim where the player would be adjusting his cap.
