The Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar wore this green mesh practice jersey during his time with the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks selected Abdul-Jabbar with the first overall pick in the 1969 NBA Draft, outbidding the New York Nets of the ABA for the rights to Abdul-Jabbar’s services. Abdul-Jabbar was an instant panacea for the expansion Bucks, leading the franchise to an NBA title in only their third season of existence. The former UCLA star played for the Bucks from 1969 through 1975, when he was traded west to the Los Angeles Lakers. In his six seasons in Milwaukee, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer averaged a stunning 30.4 points and 15.3 rebounds per game while winning three NBA MVP trophies. This offered green mesh practice jersey is reversible, with a white side opposite the green. A white basketball is applied to the chest of the green side of the jersey. A Champion size “Large” flag is located on the back tail of this historic jersey. This item comes with a LOA hand-signed by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
