Presented here is a Kirby Puckett 1984-86 style Minnesota Twins road jersey. Puckett debuted in 1984 and was one of the best players in the game until vision problems forced his early retirement in 1995. Puckett was a 10 time All-Star and two-time World Series champion with the Twins, the only MLB team he ever suited up for. Puckett, the 1989 American League batting champ, was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001, on his first appearance on the ballot.
This jersey is a powder blue pullover Mitchell and Ness Twins jersey. “TWINS” is sewn across the front of this jersey in red and navy blue tackle twill. Puckett’s number “34” is sewn on the front and back of the jersey in red and navy blue tackle twill. “PUCKETT” is sewn across the back shoulders in red tackle twill. A Twins logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve. Puckett’s signature is located on the “4” digit on the back in black marker. He signed the number, which was affixed to the jersey at a later date. This signature is accompanied by a LOA from JSA (Y54116).
