Offered in this lot is a dual signed pair of Kobe IX EM low-top sneakers in yellow, white, and purple. Bryant, a first round pick in 1996, played 20 seasons in the NBA, averaging 25.0 points per game and leading the Lakers to five NBA titles. Bryant claimed the NBA MVP award in 2007-08 after averaging north of 28.0 points per game. A true champion, Bryant earned renown and notoriety after lighting up the Toronto Raptors for an incredible 81-point performance in 2006. Bryant was posthumously inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020.
These offered Nike low-top sneakers are presented in a Los Angeles Lakers colorway, with white Nike swoosh logos applied to both sides of the shoes. The laces are yellow and the soles are yellow and purple. Bryant has signed both shoes in gold marker, inscribing “24” in addition to both signatures. Each shoe comes with a LOA from JSA (Y86160, Y86161).
