Lawrence Taylor and the New York Giants defeated the Buffalo Bills 20-19 in Super Bowl XXV, for the team’s second of four Super Bowl victories. Taylor and the Giants held the high-scoring Bills to only 19 points as Buffalo’s Scott Norwood missed a 42-yard field goal wide right at the end of the game. Taylor signed this game used Wilson football in black marker with the inscription “To Jack Best Wishes Lawrence Taylor #56 1/27/91”. The Taylor signature, while still legible, is faded. The football consists of the Super Bowl XXV logo with “Paul Tagliabue Commissioner” stamp on one side and the engraved inscription “National Football League Tampa, FL . January 27, 1991 Silver Anniversary” on the other side of the laces. PSA/DNA sticker (#U77396). Comes with LOA from Joe Goldberg who was personally given the ball from his friend Lawrence Taylor.
