This 11 x 14 inch photo shows the 1987 Indiana Hoosiers at the White House on April 3, 1987 after their breathtaking 74-73 victory over Syracuse in the NCAA basketball championship. President Reagan is at the podium, probably cracking a joke as he usually did during presentations. The President is looking back a red jacketed clad Knight, who is smiling broadly. The photo is signed and inscribed by Reagan, “To Bobby - With Best Wishes and Fond Memories of a winning season! Ronald Reagan. P.S. Were we laughing at something you said, or at your red blazer?” This photo was owned by Coach Knight for all the years since before originally auctioning it off last year. Here is your second opportunity at this classic signed image. Matted and framed to a dimension of 16.5 x 19.25 inches. Full LOA signed by Bob Knight. In addition, an 8 x 10 inch photo of Knight at the podium presenting a similar red blazer to President Reagan is signed “Bob Knight” boldly in silver sharpie. COA from Steiner Sports.
