Of the more than 350 examples reviewed by PSA, only 20 have received this unimprovable grading tier, which is fewer than 6 percent of the cards in the population report.
Messi, a six-time Ballon d’Or winner, has won 35 major trophies with Barcelona in an unprecedented era of European dominance for the Catalan outfit. The 17-year old Messi made his La Liga debut for Barcelona in a local derby against Espanyol, with the Argentine star scoring his first of more than 750 senior goals against Albacete Balompie during the 2004-05 campaign. The card projects a glorious image of its subject, with an overall strong composition. A scarce commemorative of Lionel Messi’s A club debut-season, in robust Gem Mint condition.
