Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Offered is an unopened pack of 1978 Campeonato Mundial de Futbol “Crack” soccer cards. The popular card series from Argentina features a variety of different card styles, including both Argentine and foreign players as well as a mix of caricature-style player images and more traditional photographic images. The caricature images are particularly striking, featuring bold, charming illustrations of the Argentine stars that raised the FIFA World Cup the very same year, such as Mario Kempes and Daniel Passarella. Also receiving a caricature player image is the legendary Diego Maradona, who was not included in the 1978 World Cup squad, but would lead Argentina back to World Cup glory in 1986. The card package features colorful illustrations, including an Argentine player on the obverse and a collection of national flags from around the globe (as well as the FIFA World Cup Trophy) on the back.
