Former Los Angeles Angels slugger Albert Pujols used this Marucci AP5P-LDM model bat during the September 14th, 2019 game against the Tampa Bay Rays at Angels Stadium where he connected on a sharp line drive single to center field that got teammate Cole Calhoun to second base in the bottom of the sixth inning. Pujols’ single came off Rays’ pitcher Pete Fairbanks. Pujols’ bat displays excellent game use with a crack on the lower handle. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. The upper handle has a coating of pine tar and the knob has Pujols’ number “5” stamped in black along with the stamping of the bat’s manufacture date “05/28/19”. Pujols has signed this bat in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “Game Used 2019”. This bat comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (VS023413), authenticating that this bat was used for the sixth-inning single on September 14th, 2019, plus a STICKER ONLY from Beckett Authentication (P61565) for the signature and inscription.
