Encapsulated and graded 8.0 with a “First-Party H-Seam” seal rating of A from WATA Games. If Super Mario Bros. was the quintessential game for the original Nintendo, here’s your grail game for the Gameboy: Tetris. This is a gorgeous, sealed copy of the best-selling Gameboy game and, although graded, WATA doesn’t have population reports, suffice it to say, there are not many sealed copies around. Why? Because in 1989, which is when this version is from, the Tetris came with the Gameboy, meaning this was made as a backup for a kid who might have lost the little cartridge somehow! Sealed Tetris games tied to regular Nintendo sell for a couple thousand dollars, but this being associated with Gameboy is everything. A best-in-class Tetris Gameboy (WATA 9.4, A Box) sold for $75,000 on eBay in July. This presented copy features a “Made in Japan” label and a “4 Line Warranty” box. A gorgeous sealed best-selling Game Boy game with an appealing seal rating of A and an overall box grade of 8.0.
