Encapsulated and graded 9.8 with a “First-Party H-Seam” seal grade of A+ by WATA Games. Offered here is a sealed copy of "R.C. Pro-Am" developed by Rare and published for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Released on February 10, 1988, "R.C. Pro-Am" is a racing game where the player controls a remote control car against three opponents through 32 tracks. "R.C. Pro-Am" featured power-ups and fun controls that influenced such games as "Mario Kart" and "Super Off Road" and is widely considered to be one of the best titles in the NES library of games.
The game sold 2.3 million copies and is considered a compelling yet fun and innovative approach to racing games. This sealed copy contains a "REV-A" and a round Nintendo "Seal of Quality," which indicates that this copy is a first production run and produced between January 1988 and March 1989. Please note that the WATA label states that the Nintendo SOQ is oval with a trademark "R" when it is, in fact, round with no trademark. The game is currently in the process of being re-encapsulated. A highly sought-after specimen that revolutionized racing games on home consoles is in excellent condition and a perfect addition to any video game collection.
