Encapsulated and graded 9.0 with a “First-Party H-Seam” seal rating of A+ by WATA Games. "Punch-Out" was developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System and was released in North America on October 18, 1987. The game is noted for being Nintendo's first celebrity-endorsed game and starred the feared boxer, Mike Tyson. The game featured the boxer Little Mac facing 14 memorable opponents such as King Hippo, Soda Popinski, and Super Macho Man enroute to the "Dream Match" against Mike Tyson. Known for its tight controls and difficulty, "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out" sold 2 million copies and is widely considered one of the greatest video games of all time.
This presented copy features a "REV-A" label and an oval Nintendo "Seal of Quality TM," indicating that this copy was produced between March 1989 and April 1990. A great sealed game from one of Nintendo's most revolutionary titles and historic as it was the first celebrity-endorsed game.
