Offered here is a sealed and graded copy of "Battletoads" developed by Rare and published by Tradewest for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The first installment of the "Battletoads" franchise was released in June 1991 and is a platform scrolling beat 'em up that features two of the Battletoads, Rash, and Zitz. The duo embarks on a mission to defeat the Dark Queen and rescue their kidnapped friends, Pimple, the third Battletoad, and Princess Angelica. The game is known for its insanely hard difficulty, with critics complimenting the graphics and various modes of gameplay. It is interesting to note that the difficulty was intended to combat the video game rental industry; as the game was more difficult, it would force people to buy the title instead of renting it.

This presented copy features a "REV-A" label and an oval Nintendo "Seal of Quality" with a trademark "R" indicating that this copy was produced between March 1990 and December 1994. Sealed copies of "Battletoads" are rare, making this specimen with the grade of 9.6 more rare and desirable. A near-perfect sealed game from one of the most celebrated titles in the NES library.
