Offered here is a sealed and graded copy of "Castlevania II: Simon's Quest" developed by Konami and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The platform-adventure game is the direct sequel to "Castlevania" and was released in North America on December 1, 1988. "Simon's Quest" takes place immediately after the events of "Castlevania" and features Simon Belmont on a quest to destroy the remains of Dracula to lift a curse placed on the vampire hunter by Dracula at the end of the first game. The game is noted for its non-linear gameplay, a daytime and nightfall cycle, and cryptic clues and lies from villagers. The game featured role-playing elements and a non-linear story that was a radical departure from the first installment.
This presented copy features a "REV-A" and a round Nintendo "Seal of Quality" that indicates that this copy was produced between January 1988 and March 1989, which means this copy was from an early production run of the title.
