Offered here is a sealed and graded copy of “Mortal Kombat II” developed by Midway and published by Acclaim Studios for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. “Mortal Kombat II” is the port of the popular arcade fighting game and was released for the Super Nintendo on September 9, 1994. The game features fighters from Earthrealm led by Raiden fighting in the Mortal Kombat tournament in Outworld against Shao Kahn and his minions. The game introduced multiple fatalities, “Babalities” that turned the defeated opponent into a baby, “Friendships” that featured more friendly interactions at the end of matches, and stage-specific fatalities. The game also introduced several new playable characters into the “Mortal Kombat” franchise like Baraka, Jax, Mileena, Kung Lao, amongst others still present in the franchise to this day. Many critics have claimed that the SNES version is one of the best arcade-to-home ports ever made, and the game sold 1.51 million copies on the SNES.

This presented copy features a “Made in Japan” label on this box that also features a “USA Code” and a “17” age rating label. This item is a first production copy.
