Offered here is a sealed and graded copy of "Super Mario Kart" developed and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The kart racing game featuring eight characters from the "Mario" franchise was the first "Mario Kart" game and sold 8.76 million copies worldwide. The game is credited with creating the kart-racing subgenre of video games and is known for its use of Mode 7 graphics and expanding the "Mario" franchise into non-platforming games.
This presented sealed copy features a “Made in Japan” label on this “4 Line Warranty” box that is absent of a rating label from the ESRB. One of the most popular kart-racing games to ever appear on consoles, the game is in very good condition.
