A collection of 24 different baseball player tobacco insert cards from the 1911 T205 Gold Border series is presented. Three cards have been graded by SGC. Hall of Famer. This is a pleasing collection of the gloriously extravagant, gold-edged collectibles that accompanied tobacco products during the 1911 season. The array boasts a quartet of Cooperstown enshrinees: Zach Wheat (SGC PR 1), Cy Young (SGC GD 2), Walter Johnson (SGC GD 2) and Roger Bresnahan. Additional stars include Larry Doyle, Jack Quinn, Rube Oldring and Jack Knight. The cards' detailed biography/statistic backs (the majority branded for Piedmont Cigarettes) are generally boldly printed and fully legible. Overall about FR to VG or finer (some lesser).
