The three-time National League Most Valuable Player Albert Pujols used this offered bat on August 31st, 2019 as the Boston Red Sox crossed the country to visit Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Pujols, starting at first base, connected on his 3,183rd career hit when he doubled off of Red Sox pitcher Brian Johnson in the bottom of the third inning – his 656th career double in the Angels’ 10-4 win. This Marucci AP5P-LDM model bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and white leather scuffs present on the barrel. There is a coating of pine tar on the upper handle and the knob has Pujols’ number “5” stamped in black, along with the bat’s manufacture date “08/13/19” and length “4” and weight “2”. Pujols has signed this bat in bold silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “Game Used 2019”. A complete Pujols gamer tied to a specific hit and extra base hit! This comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (VS002410) for the game use, authenticating that Pujols used this bat during the 3rd inning of the August 31st, 2019 game for a double. Additionally, there is a STICKER ONLY from Beckett Authentication (P61564) for Pujols’ signature and inscription.
