Presented here is a game used jersey worn by the late linebacker Ed Weisacosky, who joined the New England Patriots starting in 1971. This road white Patriots jersey comes directly from the New England Patriots and dates to Weisacosky’s 1971 season where he appeared in all 14 games, starting 10 of them. This now cream-colored jersey is a size 54 and has the number “66” sewn on the front, back and sleeves in red tackle twill. The collar and sleeve ends have expandable-material red, white and blue stripes. The back has “WEISACOSKY” sewn on in red tackle twill on a matching cream-colored nameplate. Like many of the jerseys of the early 1970’s, there is a crotch strap that has six buttons, in two rows of three on the front. The inside front center tail has a Rawlings 54 tag, along a “BUCKY WARREN and SON INC. ATHLETIC SUPPLIES BOSTON”, along with a wash instructions tag. This jersey displays solid use with blue stains on the upper left sleeve/shoulder area. This jersey comes with a COA from the New England Patriots (7825).
