Former linebacker Todd Collins wore this home blue New England Patriots jersey during the 1998 season – his final season with the team. Collins appeared in 12 games for the Patriots in 1998, where he combined for 57 tackles. This size 48 Starter jersey comes directly from the New England Patriots and features Collins’ number “59” sewn on the front, back and sleeves with white tackle twill-on-rounded red block tackle twill. The torso has a unique blue vertical striping pattern and the Flying Elvis logo is sewn on each shoulder in blue, white, red and silver tackle twill. The back has “COLLINS” sewn on in white tackle twill on a matching blue nameplate. The V-neck collar has the NFL shield patch at its base and the “Patriots” wordmark and logo patch is sewn on above the number on the front. The front left tail has a “PRO LINE AUTHENTIC STARTER” tag with a “48” size flag. The inside collar has an additional tag that reads “LOGOS & LETTERING BY CUSTOM CRAFTED NORTH ATTLEBORO, MASSACHUSETTS” and “OFFICIAL NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 1998 SEASON/SET 1”. This jersey displays moderate to heavy game use with abrasion and stain marks and team repairs. This comes with a COA from the New England Patriots (7835).
