The latest in the lineage of legendary New York Yankees, shortstop Derek Jeter is just a few years shy of having his plaque added to the wall of Yankee Stadium’s Monument Park. Jeter signed this un-cracked 34.25-inch, 31.5-ounce, Black finish Louisville Slugger model P72 bat in bright silver sharpie between the label and barrel branding where his facsimile signature, New York Yankees and Genuine P72 are also engraved in silver and accompanied by a Steiner Sports hologram. Un-cracked bat shows evidence of outstanding use with a barrage of ball marks, stitch impressions, blue ink transfers, white scuff marks and a pair or grain swelling cracks on the back barrel. Cleat marks and bat rack tracks are also evident around the barrel and moderate application of Mota Stick coats the handle. The bat’s 09/24/10 date of manufacture and 34.0 and 32.0 specifications are stamped into the knob; comes with PSA/DNA LOA certification #1B07609 PSA Gu-9.5 and Steiner Sports COA for signature.
