The first installment of the "Battletoads" franchise was released in June 1991 and is a platform scrolling beat 'em up that features two of the Battletoads, Rash, and Zitz. The duo embarks on a mission to defeat the Dark Queen and rescue their kidnapped friends, Pimple, the third Battletoad, and Princess Angelica. The game is known for its insanely hard difficulty, with critics complimenting the graphics and various modes of gameplay. This presented copy features a "REV-A" label and an oval Nintendo "Seal of Quality" with a trademark "R" indicating that this copy was produced between March 1990 and December 1994. A sealed copy of one of the best beat 'em up games comes with an attractive seal rating of A and an overall box grade of 9.0.
