The platform game featuring the knight Sir Arthur and his quest to save Princess Prin-Prin from Astaroth, King of the Demon World, was released in North America on November 1, 1986, and sold 1.64 million units worldwide. The game is known for its insanely hard difficulty, with the player dying only after two hits coupled with level designs that taxed the emotional fortitude of early NES gamers. It would be remiss to mention that once you beat the game, you had to go back and beat it again to get the real ending. Did we mention that there was no way to save progress? All of these factors have made "Ghosts' N Goblins" one of the single most difficult games to appear on any console, one that continues to frustrate those brave enough to attempt to rescue Princess Prin-Prin.

This presented copy features a "Hangtab" and a round Nintendo "Seal of Quality," indicating that this is an early production copy produced in late 1986.
