Offered here is a sealed and graded copy of "Castlevania," developed and published by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The action-platform game featuring the debut of Simon Belmont is the first installment in the "Castlevania" series and was released in North America on May 1, 1987. The game features Simon Belmont, a descendant of the legendary Belmont family of vampire hunters, who enters Dracula's castle to face the feared vampire after he reappears after being vanquished 100 years prior. Known for its haunting score and great gameplay, "Castlevania" sold 1.56 million copies and launched an entire franchise of "Castlevania" games that persists to this day.
This presented copy features a "REV-A" label and an oval Nintendo "Seal of Quality" with a trademark "TM," indicating that this copy was produced between March 1989 and April 1990. A sealed copy of one of the most influential survival horror games in history comes with an attractive overall grade of NM+ 85.
