The game features the player piloting the highly advanced Stinger jet fighter to stop the dreaded Attackons. They kidnapped Professor Einstein J. Cinnamon to steal his secret bio-nuclear sweetener formula so they could transform the Earth into a giant ball of cotton candy. The inspiring story is only heightened by the graphics, as the player is attacked by everything from flying donuts to a giant watermelon that spits deadly seeds. The game is known not only for its wacky premise and cute characters but also for its music and difficulty.

This presented copy features a “Hangtab,” a round Nintendo “Seal of Quality,” and a “Made in Japan” label printed on the box, indicating that this copy was produced in early 1987. “Stinger” received a limited release in North America, as all copies have a “Hangtab,” making sealed copies of this game highly desired by collectors due to their scarcity. One of the most scarce and oddest offerings from Konami for the NES, the game comes with an attractive seal rating of A+ and an overall box grade of 9.4.
