Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. The inimitable Diego Maradona stars on this fresh Panini Soccer Superstars collectible. Maradona, perhaps Argentina’s greatest national hero, led the Albiceleste to a historic FIFA World Cup title in 1986, scoring two of the most famous goals in soccer history in the process. Maradona’s greatness earned the diminutive playmaker adulation in his native country, Spain, and Italy, with the former Argentinos Juniors midfielder leading Napoli to their first two Serie A titles in club history. Tragically, Maradona passed away in November of 2020, sparking worldwide mourning and mass tributes in his native Argentina. Near Mint to Mint condition.
