Boxing is in the family blood, and Hector Camacho Jr., the son of the late Hector “Macho” Camacho, began boxing at the age of 18. The father-son duo both boxed on February 3rd, 2001 at “Mucho Macho Madness” held at the Level Nightclub in South Beach, Miami, against Rocky Martinez. Camacho Jr. outpointed Martinez, who never presented a true threat to the boxing scion, by keeping him on the defensive the entirety of their 12-round bout, dispatching Martinez on the same night his father won a 10-round fight against Troy Lowry. This blue shark jacket was worn by Camacho Jr. during his fight against Martinez and is a teal zip-up windbreaker with a hood. The jacket features two pockets on the front and drawstrings on the hood. A seafoam green and teal shark with a googly eye rests upon a tan tackle twill backing on the back of the jacket. “CAMACHO” appears across the bottom of the jacket under the shark in black tackle twill on a metallic purple nameplate. The jacket features some stains on the front tail and cuffs and comes directly from one of Camacho’s former managers with a corresponding letter of provenance that will be included.
