While the New York Knicks missed out in landing Zion Williamson in the 2019 NBA Draft, they were able to select Williamson’s Duke teammate RJ Barrett with the 3rd overall pick and Barrett has been instrumental in the resurgent Knicks franchise. Barrett’s second season with the Knicks saw him average 17.6 points per game (second behind Julius Randle) as the Knicks finished with a 41-31 record. During the April 12th, 2021 game, Barrett scored 7 points in helping New York defeat the Los Angeles Lakers 111-96 at Madison Square Garden. Barrett wore this New York Knicks black “City” jersey during that April 12th game. This jersey has Barrett’s number “9” sewn on white tackle twill with painted black borders and mesh holes on the front and back. The front has a black tackle twill circle around the number that has “CITY NEVER” in white, “SLEEPS” in blue, “NEW” in blue and “YORK KNICKS” in orange. The Nike swoosh is in orange over a white “NYC” word mark on the upper right chest a “SQUARESPACE” advertisement logo on the upper left chest. The sides have a thick stripe that starts with black on the top, which fades to blue and then fades to orange. The back has “BARRETT” sewn on in white tackle twill and the lower front left tail has an NBA AUTHENTICS/Nike size 48 tag with a “LENGTH +4” flag and an “EVERY PLAYER. EVERY GAME” tag with an ID number NYKE 03825. Handwritten on the Nike tag is “4-12-2021 vs Lakers” in black marker. This jersey comes with a STICKER ONLY from Fanatics (AA0063236) for the game use.
