After an exceptional college career at Duke University that included winning two NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championships and the 1994 ACC Player of the Year Award, Grant Hill embarked on a professional career that saw him selected to five NBA All-Star teams in his first six seasons. Although ankle injuries threatened to derail the second half of his career, Hill continued to be one of the most respected players in the NBA due to his perseverance, talent, and sportsmanship.
