Perhaps the greatest hitter of the game’s current era, Miguel Cabrera displayed the promise of his unlimited potential hitting 12 home runs with 21 doubles and 62 RBI with a .268 batting average in 87 games with the Florida Marlins in 2003. Cabrera was a 20-year old rookie with the Florida Marlins when he wore this black World Series jersey. The button down jersey features “MARLINS” across the chest, his name “CABRERA” across the back with his number “20” below. All are stitched directly on the jersey in silver, on black on teal on white tackle twill. The lower front tail has the “Russell Athletic” manufacturers tag with attached size “50” and “+2” EXTRA LENGTH” flag tags. The left should contain the Marlins logo patch, while the right contains the “World Series 100th Anniversary” logo patch. Light evidence of game use. A rare rookie season World Series game worn jersey from one of the game’s best overall players. LOA from Dave Miedema, noted sports jersey expert.
