Graded VG+ 3.5 by SGC. Hall of Famer. The 1955 Bowman set holds a very special place in the hearts of many collectors. At a time when color televisions were a rare luxury, this set chose to use them to frame the player photographs to create the effect of each card being a moment of baseball broadcast history frozen in time. Card number 202 in the set features Mickey Mantle, the decade’s biggest star, and king of the greatest baseball city of the time. A fantastic memento from a time when baseball was like a religion for many New York Yankees fans. Very Good Plus condition.
