Offered in this lot is an unopened wax box of 2005 Mundicromo Las Fichas de La Liga soccer cards, featuring 50 packs of collectible cards from the top division of Spanish soccer. This box represents the final update of the set, and could potentially include collectibles featuring players who transferred into the league or debuted after the opening of the season, players who were not featured in previous iterations of this set. Lionel Messi of FC Barcelona made his La Liga debut during the 2004-05 campaign, with his historic rookie card potentially inside this Mundicromo box, while other stars in the league at the time include Samuel Eto'o, Ronaldo, Fernando Torres, David Villa, Michael Owen, Juan Roman Riquelme, and Sergio Ramos, with the Spain centurion's rookie card another possible treasure inside this box. The box concedes minor damage from age and storage, but remains in solid condition. The box is now protected by securely sealed "Baseball Card Exchange" plastic wrapping.
